Ensure the chevron has a text alternative if it is meaningful, and has sufficient color contrast(non-text contrast).

The key WCAG criteria would include the following:
When used adjacent to and part of visible Labels they should be hidden from screen reader users to avoid confusion caused by redundant information (Non-text content).
Non-text contrast: Chevrons indicating navigation should be easily visible to all users, as they play a crucial role in guiding users through the interface.
Focus Order in Accordions: In the case of accordions, chevrons should receive focus as one element along with the accordion headers, ensuring users can navigate through the page logically.
