Redundant Entry
Posted 12mnths agoE-star Front end 2 Comments
Hello everyone, On the new issue description in WCAG 2.2, 3.3.7 Redundant Entry (A) affects people with cognitive disability. Can adding an autocomplete attribute to input fields that collect the same information remediate this? If not which is the best way?

The autocomplete feature of browsers is not considered sufficient because it is the content (the web site) that needs to provide the stored information for a redundant entry, or avoid asking for the same information again.

The autocomplete attribute to input fields is a recommended way to enhance digital accessibility for users with cognitive disabilities in the context of redundant entry.
